Heading Down Under

Raya sudah, ibadah korban pun sudah, and now it's time for us to head Down Under for our much awaited trip. I was glad that my schedule had slowed down a bit after the ASEAN camp. In fact, the office has been pretty quiet the few days prior to Aidil Adha.

The whole country is on SALE...

I had wanted to go back to Seremban earlier, but was stucked entertaining the girls, mall hopping to get stuffs for them. It wasn't really shopping, shopping. It was more like eating, shop a bit, then coffee or desert and then shop again etc etc. I couldn't really remember when was the last time I did that with my girls. I felt bad most of the time when I had to call Nissa and tell her that I was still in the office and she has to go for either Kumon or piano or her art class her own. But I guess that's how it goes, when children have a working Mom. I just pray that someday, they'd know that it's for them we are working so darn hard.

Melbourne, Xmas 2001

Anyway, enough of dwelling with the guilt, it's holiday time folks!! We'll be leaving for Perth later today and will be there till 16/12/2008. Our tickets are confirmed, visa is ok and the bags are all packed. As usual Nissa is the most excited one of the three. Unlike the Abang and Kakak who have met Mr Roo, Cik Wombat and Ms Koala some 7 years ago, the only instance when Nissa come close to these animals was in Animal Planet. This time around, it'll be her turn to go chasing animals around at the Perth Zoo and perhaps to also try swimming with the dolphins.

Farah (then 8) at Brisbane Zoo

Brisbane Dec 2001, Faris (then 12) and Farah

I've somewhat prepared a flexi program for the trip. We'll see how things develop once we are there. A friend who lives there puts it like this , when you are in Perth just relax.... and that's precisely what we will be doing.

I'm not too sure if I'd be able to come online. From my search, I discovered that most of the Mc Donald's in Perth has free WIFI. We'll see how it goes yah.

So folks, till next week. Take care and have a good week ahead :)

Komen Pak Malim, kucing ray yg alim.

Have a gud trip to Australia, kata Pak Malim sambil meminum air halia. Prooot! Pak Malim kentut. Ahak2. Pak Malim tertawa terbahak2 sambil menunjukkan giginya yg rongak. Maaf ya! Bergurau, kata Pak Malim sambil menuju ke surau. Lain kali saya takkan minum air halia sebelum naik kapalterbang, kata Pak Malim dgn rambut menggerbang. Looking fwd to hearing more stories from U when U get back, kata Pak Malim sambil memakai baju bareback.
