Farewell Dear Friend

I'm writing this post with a heavy heart. We lost Hj N, a dear jemaah in our Haj group to big C today.

No words could express our shock, sadness and grief when we received the call about his passing this morning. All I could think of was his wife Z, and his three beautiful girls and how they have to be strong to face this test from God Almighty. In the car back from the funeral just now, ABE just has this to say to me, "I'm going to miss him."

We are all going to miss him. Farewell dear friend...

Semoga roh mu dicucuri rahmat dan ditempatkan bersama dengan roh-roh orang yang beriman.

Alfatehah.

Komen Pak Malim kucing ray yg alim.

Ya, berita pemergian rakan taulan serta orang yg kita kenal memang membuat kita sedih dan mengingatkan kita semula bahawa dunia ini hanya lah tempat persinggahan yg sementara.

Dear Mamasita,

It was a sad day for all of us in the group. The men folks felt it more. Dulu they all berempat, now dah tinggal bertiga sahaja. Hj N was 52 and the eldest in our group of four couples/families.

InshaAllah kita sama-samalah doakan kesejahteraan dia di sana.

Kak Ezza,

Alhamdulillah, dah dua malam kami bertahlil di rumah arwah. InshaAllah, sama-samalah kita panjatkan doa buat arwah.

Kay, are you talking about Nasir Abd Hamid? I just got a message from my friend in FB that our former colleague Nasir passed away from cancer. Could this be the same person?

kay_leeda said...

Dear TM,

Thanks for the prayers. We've just come back from tahlil at arwah's house. Macam ternampak-nampak he's around.

Dear Jabishah,

IshaAllah..that's all we can pray & hope for him now.

Amin

Dear Tai Tai,

I'm not too sure of his full name. We know hims as Tn Hj Muhammad Nasir, was a VP in Ce*com. Same person?

Hi Kay, it is always sad to lose a friend or loved one.
Regret read of your friend.
Life sometimes can be real tough especially in such cases with kids still young.

You keep well Kay, best regards, Lee.

I just heard about his passing over lunch just now. Then I remembered your posting. I asked my colleagues, "Nasir ni duduk mana?" They said Shah Alam. That's when it occured to me that you could be talking about our En Nasir.

He was a nice chap. It's a shock and sad loss to all of us here at Celcom.

Dear Uncle Lee,

Thanks for your kind words. Yes, it's going to be pretty tough on the children. The youngest child is of the same age as my youngest girl. Infact they are classmates in school. Tears well up whenever I look at her, the one who resembles her father most.

Sad..very sad indeed. Thanks for dropping by Uncle.

You have a good week :)

Tai Tai,

Sad..very sad indeed. But we have to redha for only HE knows what is best.

Kita sama-sama doa untuk kesejahteraan nya di sana.

Dear MrsN,

Arwah has been not well for some time, but he was all private about his pain. Only close relatives and friends knew.

I last met him late last year. He was ok still, boleh make jokes lagi. My hubby has now lost his KUMON buddy. They used to sit outside the centre while waiting for the kids to finish their class and catch up on things.

Yes, it's a sad loss - a good friend, a doting and loving father that he was.

I'm reading a book "Facing Death - A Testimony of a Muslim stricken with Metastic Cancer".

He wrote the book prior to his death. Penuh dgn nasihat & panduan menghadapi kematian.
