Messy Outside Queazy Inside

From my window, looking down there are rows and rows of vehicles, moving very slowly to wherever the destination they are heading to.

Yes, it's past 8pm and the traffic is still no better than what it was three hours ago, during the mad dash home. And double yes as I am still in the office, stucked with an urgent assignment to work on. Looks like I'll be burning the midnight oil again tonight...yikes. For the record, tonight will be the third of such athletics.

A few nights back I came home and saw this. I didn't know how to react; too exhausted to make a fuss so I called the maid to come down, free our cat Chitty from Nissa and put her back into the cage. As for the young lady.....she got to snuggle with us that night coz' I was drop dead tired to deal with anymore wrangle.

Oh ya...I wonder whatever happened to this bright idea??

Kay..KL dah macam too..pools of cars!

Sekali sekala you must burn midnight oil kat pejabat..denda sebab gi shopping kat Bandung hari tu sampai senget poket!

Kay, u r good, work hard, play hard.

Hope u don't mind me saying; working til late at night on a regular basis is bad for your health. All the money in the world is just not worth having to spend less time with your loved ones, you only live once.

Cheers,
Tommy

P/S - Car pooling?....hahaha..sales of mannequins will skyrocket :)Me? I'll just pick up the good looking ones :))

Dear KG,

It so happened that things are all coming at one go, hence the craziness & extreme hectic schedules.

Yar lorr so kesian the kids. But what to do lah. Must find ways to make it up to them later.

Dear Tommy,

You are so, so right about living just once and the family bit thing. Me know me bad, bad gurl...but I can't possibly run away from my responsibilities at work. It's for the good of the nation and the future generation too. No worries, I do need that knock on my head at times :)

Err...I wonder if I were one very desperate looking dame by the road side wanting to car pool with you, would you stop for me?? Heh..heh...juz teasin' :D

p/s CNY sudah dekat woo...baju baru sudah ada ka??

Tommy Yewfigure said...

Baju baru, memang sudah ada lah goes without saying..hehehe.

This is my secret formula since god knows when. New outfit from top to bottom with must HAVE one, something RED. Had brought me luck, good health but none the wiser so far :(....hehehe. Still the tradition Chinaman in me!

Tong tong chang
Tommy

P/S - I'll take a wild guess that u r a Tiger, so this is your year :)

Hi Kay, I know the feeling of seeing your child sleeping and sorta waiting for you to come back from work... I have passed that alhamdullilah... But, if you can weekends, you must dedicate your time to them. So 2 days full of quality time..That way, I think they wont feel so bad sangat... I hope you will pass those late nights soon.. Not good actually.. Kita ladies must have 8 hours of sleep a day.. Kena jaga tu, nanti muka tak cantik, ada bag under the eyes.. hahahaha.. And on the serious note.. We need enough rest, our body is not getting younger.. take care of the heart girl!! Happy CNY!!

Dear Cat-in-Sydney,

Auuwww...how could you!! Now Aunty can't go collecting angpaws in peace. Have to think about water, water, water *wink*

Okay lah since it's you tagging me, I'll do it. But after my valentine's post yah :D

Dear Melbourne,

The problem with me at times is that my creative juices only come oozing in the wee hours in the morning. Be it with my proposal writing or project planning. Am more productive working under pressure and last minute deadlines...how lah??

But I will qada my sleep lah during the weekends, waking up at 9 in the morning and dozing off again two hours later :)

You have a good holiday too.
