Chillin' in China Part 4 - Glimmer and Glitter

When evening unfolds, Hangzhou becomes so much alive as it sparkles up with brilliance of multi coloured neon. It is as if there is no stopping from the day's liveliness. So many people, So many buildings. So many lights.

Main street bright lighted

One of the many night markets around the city

Shop, shop, shop ladies.....

Anything interesting? None.....

Surely would be able find something of our liking here......

where the real action was.....

at this fancy lot....

Tired and famished, growls of the tummy pulled us here.....

to savor its fillet and soda

On our way back to the hotel, we discovered this HALAL eatery. We are Muslims they said, do come in and reserve your space. Had we been luckier, we'd been dining lamb ribs and sharks fin.....probably.

Next change or coming soon? No lah it's COMEING soon!!

Kay,

Thanks for sharing your holiday pics with us. Are the shops opened 24hrs like in Seoul? I love retail therapy but I just don't get the concept of shopping in the wee hours of the morning.

Aunty Kay,
You said you didn't do any shopping or were you shopping with your lens only? My Mama has started looking at ticket prices to China...she's never been there. purrr....meow!

Dear MTTNM,

24 hours of shopping in Seoul? Aww..please don't give me ideas :)
Most shops in China close by 10pm. We were so tired after the walk around the lake. Went home straight after dinner.

Glad you like the pictures :)

Dear Cat-in-Sydney,

Maybe what I meant to say was "I didn't shop like I shopped in HCMC or the other RT spots" Heh..heh...

Aww...did your Mama come back with anything good? You tell her that Beijing in December is worth going. Show, sub zero temperatures - just in case she wants to runaway from the summer heat Down Under :)
