It was my cousin brother's wedding last weekend. Ahmad Johan or Jojo is the 3rd son of my Uncle Kassim & Aunty Shidah. This is the first wedding in my uncle's family.

The guys with the hantaranJojo's bride, Siti Asmah is from Johor Baru. 070707 was the special date chosen by the couple to tie the knot. A few of us, the close relatives of my aunty and uncle were invited to attend the akad nikah and the bride's reception held at the Alumni House in UTM Skudai.
The drive from KL to JB was exceptionally challenging...especially from the Pedas Linggi to Ayer Keroh stretch. Some parts of the highway were only opened to one lane of traffic due to the ongoing construction work...urgghhh...when will this ever stop!!!

Father of the groom..in pink.The groom entourage "berkampung" at Pulai Spring Resort for the weekend. The event started with the convoy to the akad nikah ceremony at the mosque in Bandar Baru Uda in JB. Then a small reception at the bride's place.
On Sunday was the reception by the bride's family.....a simple reception in a cosy & friendly environment.To Jojo & Azmah...congratulations!!! To Uncle Kassim & Aunty Shidah..take it easy ok...save some energy for this weekend reception in KL.
